Pranlal Bhogilal started a Museum which has a collection of old Cars, World Auto Museum, a remarkable vintage car collection, in 1972 with his 2000 acres, located in Dastan farm, and his tireless efforts were recognized and gained a Guinness Book of World Record listing in 1987.This Museum is recognized as a kingdom of classic wheels.

Also, in this museum you will find Three Hundred-plus items of Mechanical Extravaganza.

What is Mechanical Extravaganza? Let me explain to you. Mechanical Extravaganza is used for mechanical objects or vintage antiques.

He collected more than Two Hundred and four cars, and out of those, 105 are now kept at the Auto World Vintage Car Museum in Ahmedabad. What made his collection fantastic was that he did not just collect the cars – he made sure each one was kept in perfect condition and could still be used.

Something interesting that happened in his life in 2006, Ulrich Schmid-Maybach, who is a family member of the famous Maybach family, came here for a trip to Ahmedabad from Germany.

He wanted to buy 6 cylinder Maybach, which was designed by his grandfather, but Pranlal was denied permission to sell because he did not want to sell these vintage collections instead of any amount; also these collections are part of the heritage. He aimed to maintain these collections for a new generation. This is a very deep sense of responsibility towards culture

Pranlal Bhogilal may have passed away in 2011 at 73, but his passion for vintage cars and the museum he created still inspires people today.

So Pranlal maintained all his collections in this museum.

About Pranlal Bhogilal’s Vintage Collection:

Such an interesting part of this museum is that you will find the very reach branded cars of old centuries. For example, 1911 Daimler, 1914 Minerva, 1906 Minerva, 1906 Mors, and 1910 Ford Model T, 1931 Auburn V12, 2 litre, 1936 Lagonda V12, 1935 Auburn 851, and 1952 Bentley Mark V, 1934 Bentley 3.5 Litre, 1926 Lagonda.

People can also explore this collection, which is made by American Automobile manufacturers, like a 1947 Buick Eight Super, a 1931 Buick Tourer, and a 1935 Buick Eight.

The museum also features Sports cars such as a 1937 AC, a 1931 MG Magna, a 1937 Riley Sprite Sports, and a 1946 Sunbeam Talbot. This collection highlights the beginning of speed.

The museum also has a fantastic collection of Hotchkiss Cars, which were made by the French company Hotchkiss.
